The Journey is all about relationships. Regardless of who you are, where you live, how many resources you have or do not have, where you come from or what you believe, from our point of view

You matter to God and You matter to Us

. We look forward to meeting you.

Each Sunday, a group of us from diverse cultures and backgrounds, gather between 12:00-1:00 to enjoy each others company over a light lunch followed by time spent worshipping God through music, teaching and prayer. The atmosphere is informal and the Spirit led worship is transforming.

If you are new to the community, live nearby or are neither and just want to check us out, then we invite you to come for lunch and if you wish, stay to worship with us.

If you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour or simply want to know more about Him then come as you are.

If Sunday’s don’t work for you then drop by Wednesday evenings between 7:00pm-9:00pm while the Share & Care free clothing exchange is open. Drop off or pick up some clothes and stay for a refreshment or just come for a bowl of soup and the fellowship.

At
The Journey
our mission is to transform our local community to be a blessing to those who live and work within the community while introducing as many people to our Lord and Saviour in the process.

Stated more eloquently…

We aim to be ambassadors for Jesus to our local community through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As His followers, we are:

  • forging authentic, loving relationships
  • passionately sharing our faith
  • encouraging those desiring it to accept God’s unfathomable grace and
  • helping them grow to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Will you join us on this mission?

The Journey

is… a church within a church…

Started as a “church plant” in late 2015 it is currently supported by Bethel Community Christian Reformed Church and meets in the same building at 333 Davis Drive.
